Mr. Musa Camara
Mr. Musa Camara is a senior civil servant, policy analyst and academician, who served in the Civil Service for more than a decade. He joined the civil service in 2008 as a Cadet Administrative Officer at the Personnel Management Office (PMO) where he rose through the ranks to become Deputy Permanent Secretary (DPS) in 2017. As DPS Policies and Programmes he is responsible for the monitoring and coordination of projects and programs at the PMO; as well as the monitoring of discipline, job performance and trainings among other functions.
DPS Camara is a holder of Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Management and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from The University of the Gambia and the University of Portsmouth (United Kingdom) respectively.
He has also undergone several professional trainings in the field of Human Resource Management and Public Administration, both locally and abroad, through which he has acquired expertise in organizational development, the design of schemes of service and job descriptions, Job Evaluationto name a few.
