Mrs. Elizabeth J.P. Bahoum

 

Mrs. Elizabeth J.P. Bahoum is an experienced senior civil servant who has served in the Civil Service of the Gambia for more than three (3) decades. She commenced her career at the Medical & Health Department in 1980 as a Temporal Clerk and rose through the ranks to become a Director at the National Record Service (NRS) from November 2007 to October, 2019. At NRS, she was responsible for the management of the entire records system of the Government including that of Gambian missions overseas.

 

She was redeployed to the Personnel Management Office (PMO) as Deputy Permanent Secretary, Finance and Administration in November, 2019.

 

DPS Bahoum obtained a Diploma in Records and Archives Administration at the University of Ghana, Legon in 2003 and underwent several professional training programmes in record management and archives administration, both locally and internationally.
